oil paintings
I think of my life in two parts: before I discovered oil painting, and after. It does more for me than I can explain, and feels a very personal and emotionally charged experience. I know now I could not be without it.
I’m lucky that it’s a passion that is so celebrated with others, owing partly to the fact that each piece does carry unspoken parts of my soul. I think when a person views my paintings and they see part of themselves reflected back, wordless, but on a very profound and visual level, it creates an affinity I couldn’t reach otherwise.
I always think, I don’t paint for mass approval or fame, but for those special people that ‘get it’.
And I hope that you, who are viewing this page, ‘get it’ too.
